Supreme court allowed to fill vacant DM/ MCH seats by one more round of counselling

Supreme court of India today gave permission for round 3 for filling of vacant Superspeciality MCH/ DM seats and asked the MCC / DGHS to conduct the 3rd round of counselling centrally while delivering a Judgement in a case. There won’t be any Mop Up round- they specified.Advocate Romy Chaco argued for KERALA pvt medical colleges to permit for filling vacant seats by themselves which was refused by the court.
Then additional solicitor General Maninder Singh spoke, telling 600 seats are vacant and 1000 of eligible meritorious doctors waiting to join it. He pressed that the delay was only due to AP TELANGANA AND KERALA HIGH COURT interference for which the Honourable court was convinced and if ASG has a petition on govt side.
ASG said to want some more time. But the judge said will give time til 2 pm to file and postpone to 2 PM. ASG said we want 10 days time and a third round counselling with upgradation. The judge replied ok for merit-based counselling, till Oct 24 and with a penalty of Debarring for defaulters 2 years away from both DNB SS and NEET SS EXAM. MCI lawyer was not allowed to talk much
