In an inside conflict between Andhra Pradesh, Telangana NEET Super speciality aspirants which formed two groups, one who want to opt for central counselling seat and other who do not want to share the state seats to the central pool, Hyderabad High court decides to stay NEET SS counselling by the MCC. The stay order is until tomorrow only and HC is expected to deliver a decision or extend the stay.
After an earlier stay on the NEET Counselling Health Ministry removed AP Telangana students from the list and prepared a fresh list to conduct counselling. Meanwhile, AP Telangana students who lost seats due to new merit list went to Hyderabad High court against the decision and asked for a stay which was granted today.
In view of the judgement of the Hon’ble High Court Hyderabad in W.P. No. 27988, 28025, 28026, 28042, 28055 and 28064 of 2017, it has been directed by the Hon’ble High Court Hyderabad to put the Super Specialty counselling on hold. Hence the online NEET Super Speciality counselling -2017 (Round 2) has been stayed till further order. All the candidates are advised to be keep in touch with the website (mcc.nic.in) for further necessary updation. This issues with the prior approval of the competent authority.
