A public notice dated 31st August 2017 is uploaded on NBE website today (6th September) stating that the NEET PG/ MDS examinations 2018 session shall be conducted by National Board of Examinations. (Click Here). It is worthy to note that till 2017 all examinations conducted by NBE were not accepting Aadhar UID as valid ID proof, leave aside mandatory. The same was also pointed in various court cases against NBE. In past few days many protests have been announced against NBE conducting NEET PG examination, under such circumstances this public notice comes as a shock o the student’s community.

This is an eyewash to give a false sense of security. NEET PG scam modulus operandi as exposed by Crime branch of Delhi police does not rely on Impersonation, neither is there a single case of Impersonation. The model was largely based on Computer hacking” Says Save Doctor’s Right President.

The public notice states as “As a measure to enhance the security of examinations, NBE has decided to collect Aadhaar Number from all applicant candidates in NEET-PG 2018 & NEET-MDS 2018 and hereby notifies the following:
a) Candidates, who are in possession of Aadhaar, shall provide Aadhaar number during online registration for NEET-PG 2018 & NEET-MDS 2018 for the purpose of his/her identity and authentication thereof.
b) Candidates, who have not yet enrolled for Aadhaar, are hereby required to apply for Aadhaar enrolment in case he/she is entitled to obtain Aadhaar as per Aadhaar Act. Such applicant may visit any Aadhaar enrolment centre (list available at www.uidai.gov.in) to get enrolled for Aadhaar.
c) Candidates who have enrolled for Aadhaar but have not received Aadhaar should enter his /her 14 digits Aadhaar Enrolment ID (including slash) printed on the Aadhaar enrolment slip at the time of online registration for NEET-PG 2018 & NEET-MDS 2018
