Medical counseling committee today announced that they are legally examining the NEET SS judgment of Hyderabad Highcourt and that the counseling will resume shortly. Since the Judgement comes in favor of central government the no initiation of counseling process by the government and examining the Judgement comes as a shock to the Superspeciality aspirants. “If at all someone needs to examine the Judgement, its the petitioners who want to challenge the Judgement in Supreme court or Review petition,” Said one of the Aspirant.
“AP/ Telangana political lobby was successful in pushing the Central government in reducing the cut off marks in NEET PG case on their own, and in NEET SS also they are putting pressure on the central government to push dates further to give window period for a Review petition,” Said another Aspirant.
It is known that Government always has an upper hand in the court of law for an ongoing process of counseling. If not started on time it will further invite litigation. The Public Notice issued by MCC today reads as
“In view of the judgement of the Hon’ble High Court Hyderabad, the interim order passed in W.P.M.P. No.33741 of 2017 in W.P.No.27162 of 2017. Ministry is in the process of legally examining the Judgement, Hence the online NEET Super Speciality counseling -2017 will be
resumed shortly after the final decision. All the candidates are advised to keep in touch with the website (mcc.nic.in) for further necessary updation. This issues with the prior approval of the competent authority.
