The National Testing Agency (NTA) is passed by the Central Government to function as an Autonomous institution to be registered as a society. NTA will close the door to the private firms like Prometric, Merittrack and TCS for fetching government exams like NEET UG/PG, AIIMS UG/ PG.
Earlier NTA was conceptualised by HRD ministry and was opposed by the suspended Executive director of NBE Dr Bipin Batra. (Click Here). Vyapam Whistle Blower Dr Anand Rai raised serious questions about the conduct of NBE. “If TCS is charging 1500 for AIIMS PG exam why they are charging 3700 for NEET PG?, Clearly its a profit-making business”.
“Dr Anand Rai demands NEET PG exam to be gradually handed over to the National testing agency”

Suspended ED NBE Bipin Batra was not in favour of the National testing agency for obvious reasons. Exams are big business @JPNadda, @MoHFW_INDIA, @PMOIndia , @MoHFW_INDIA , @HRDMinistry https://t.co/jaNW9IXBVB
